When Staying at The James
CANCELLATION
|
The JAMES BRADLEY must be notified of any cancellations - regardless of the reason - by 4:00 PM EST one week prior to day of arrival to avoid a cancellation fee equal to the full stay, including taxes and fees. This means that if your check in is on a Friday, you must cancel by 4:00 PM the previous Friday. This policy also applies to reservations modified to shorten the stay of time. Modifications can only be made one week prior to day of arrival.
This is inclusive of all issues that can arise as we are a small, family-owned business. There are no refunds for shortened stays or later arrivals. Failure to show up for your reservation without notifying the hotel will result in a no-show fee equal to the entire stay. |
RESERVATION GUARANTEE & PAYMENTS

All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card at the time of booking. On the day of arrival your provided credit card will be pre-authorized for the incidental charges hold of $250; reservations without a valid payment method will be subject to cancellation. Please note that upon arrival you will be asked to provide government issued identification and your valid credit card for payment including all miscellaneous and incidental charges. Payment Forms Accepted: Visa, Mastercard, Discover. All payments are due in U.S.funds only. We do not accept checks. A maximum of two (2) persons is allowed per room. If another person is staying in the room beyond capacity, additional charges of $150 per night will be applied. Room rates are based on single or double occupancy, with the exception of the Bungalow which is 6 and the 2 Bedroom Corner Suite which is 4, do not include applicable state and local taxes, and are subject to change without notice. Taxes and fees are subject to change without prior notice. Minimum stay restrictions may apply

CHECK IN / OUT

Check in time for guests is 3:00 PM, Check out time is 11:00 AM.

PARKING
|
Municipal Street Parking is available at no cost. The James Bradley assumes no responsibility fro theft or damages to your vehicle on our premises.

SMOKING
|
Smoking, of any kind, is not permitted in any guest rooms at The James Bradley. For the safety of yourself and those of others, candles or other sources of open flame are not permitted in the hotel. Any guest violating the non-smoking or open-flame policy in a guest room will face a $250 cleaning fee.

BEACH BADGES
|
The hotel provides complimentary at check in beach badges for guests to gain access to the Bradley Beach. If a beach badge is lost or not returned, a non-negotiable $150 fee per badge lost, will be applied to the reservation. Badges must be returned to a staff member at time of check out (11:00 AM) and not left in the room to ensure there is no confusion.

PET and CHILDREN POLICY

Pets are not permitted, this includes service animals. Children under the age of 5 are not permitted in any room. Children under 5 are not permitted and your stay will forfeited at full cost.
Service animals are permitted, with proof of documentation. Additional charge of $150. |
ACCESSIBILITY
|
Unfortunately, given the hotel was built in 1904, we are not handicap accessible and do not have an elevator. To confirm to the aesthetic of the space, we do not have blackout curtains in the rooms. Eye masks can be supplied if needed.

COVID-19 and Illness NOTICE

Your health and wellbeing are of paramount importance to us, and we are committed to ensuring that your stay at the Hotel is a safe as possible. We are closely monitoring guidelines from the CDC and the State of New Jersey regarding COVID-19 and other illnesses. Nonetheless, we all must recognize that there are inherent risks in visiting an establishment, which are enhanced at this time. If you believe you have been exposed to, or experienced any symptoms of, COVID-19 in the past (21 days), please refrain from visiting or staying at our Hotel. As a condition of us accepting your reservation at the Hotel, you expressly agree to (i) abide by all rules, regulations and directions implemented by the Hotel or recommended by public health officials to mitigate the transmission of COVID-19, (ii) assume any health risks which may arise from visiting the Hotel, and (iii) release the Hotel from any liability related thereto.
