About Us

The James Bradley features an artful visual language while holding true to its historical elements.

OUR HISTORY

Origins

The story of The James Bradley begins in 1893, when a group of New Yorkers arrived at the shore seeking a quieter rhythm—a retreat from Manhattan's pace. By 1904, the property that now forms our Main Structure was built: a Victorian residence overlooking the ocean, designed for stillness, light, and the ease of coastal living.

OUR SPACE

The Residence

Today, the home has been reimagined as a refined, intimate boutique hotel. Each space is composed with intention, balancing the character of the original structure with a modern, quiet simplicity. Natural materials, layered textures, and thoughtful details create an atmosphere that feels both grounded and transportive.
