The James Bradley is intentionally scaled for weddings of 20–55 guests, offering a collection of indoor and outdoor spaces that feel composed, intimate, and visually rich. Each area can be styled to reflect your aesthetic—romantic, minimal, modern, or organic — while maintaining the quiet elegance that defines the property.

Indoor Dining Room

The 500 sq. ft dining room seats up to 30 guests and can accommodate ceremonies, seated dinners, or a seamless combination of the two.

The Courtyard

A 700 sq. ft courtyard provides an open-air setting ideal for cocktail hours, installations, or intimate pre-wedding gatherings.

The Porch

This 800 sq. ft covered outdoor space offers soft natural light and ocean air, making it an inviting backdrop for welcome events or rehearsal dinners.

The Garden

The 1,900 sq. ft garden seats up to 40 guests and serves as the signature location for alfresco ceremonies and receptions. It is the most requested space for micro weddings under 50 guests.

Overnight Accommodations

The property includes 16 thoughtfully designed rooms and suites, along with a private two-story bungalow featuring three bedrooms, two baths, an outdoor courtyard, and a full kitchen and living area. Your guests can stay on-site, turning your celebration into a memorable wedding weekend.

The James is within walking distance of Main Avenue with its many shops, restaurants, and cafes. It's also close to historic Asbury Park, which boasts art galleries, music venues, antique shops, and a boardwalk. Other popular Jersey Shore attractions, like the Monmouth Park Race Track and the PNC Bank Arts Center, are an easy car ride away.

Plus, with our location just one block from the beach, guests enjoy a variety of warm weather activities such as swimming, sunbathing, boating, and fishing.
